Wealden District Council: dog rules
Council-wide dog rules, beaches and named places
Rules added
- Pick up after your dog in public places such as streets, parks, cemeteries, car parks and beaches.
- No district-wide lead or no-dog zones. Woodland, marsh, farmland and open access land are outside the order.
Order from 21 November 2023 for three years.
Assistance dogs: most council dog orders and beach bans exempt assistance dogs, such as guide and hearing dogs. Check the source if you are unsure.
