Mid Ulster District Council: dog rules

Council-wide dog rules, beaches and named places

We've only partly added this council's dog rules. Check the source for the full order.

Partly added

Northern Ireland law: dogs must be on a lead in pedestrianised streets and anywhere livestock are present.
No dogs in any of the council's 106 play parks, or at Meadowbank and Mid Ulster sports arenas.
The council asks for dogs on leads in parks such as Dungannon Park and Windmill Wood. Pick up: £50 fixed penalty.

Assistance dogs: most council dog orders and beach bans exempt assistance dogs, such as guide and hearing dogs. Check the source if you are unsure.
