Council-wide dog rules, beaches and named places
Rules added
- The council order covers picking up only (£100, or £75 within 14 days).
- Most parks are run by The Parks Trust: dogs on a lead all year in Linford, Shenley and Howe Park woods and the Floodplain Forest reserve; no dogs in Stony Stratford and Linford Lakes nature reserves or Elfield Park; at most four dogs per walker recommended.
Assistance dogs: most council dog orders and beach bans exempt assistance dogs, such as guide and hearing dogs. Check the source if you are unsure.
