Merton Council: dog rules
Council-wide dog rules, beaches and named places
Rules added
- Merton has no dog control order in force at the moment. National law on picking up and dangerous dogs still applies.
- Wimbledon Common has its own rules from its conservators.
Assistance dogs: most council dog orders and beach bans exempt assistance dogs, such as guide and hearing dogs. Check the source if you are unsure.
