Getting onto the beach

• A sand-friendly beach wheelchair and a mobile hoist (bring your own sling) on Rhyl seafront: book through PKS Watersports on 01745 770723.
• In March 2026 campaigners reported several beach ramps in Prestatyn and Rhyl blocked by sand, including behind the Red Boat Café and by the Beaches Hotel.
